Following Government and scientific guidelines, and along with every other restaurant, we have introduced steps to help keep our staff and customers safe and protected from Covid.
Please take a moment to read the information and guidelines below. We ask all our guests to follow our guidelines and to wear masks unless seated. Thank you.
TABLE SIZES & DEPOSITS
Our maximum table size will be for 6 guests including any children – sorry but multiple tables for bigger groups will not be possible.
When you now book a table at JoJo’s, your card details will be taken and in the event of a no-show a charge of £20.00 per person will be taken from the card. If you cancel a booking giving 24 hours notice or more, no charge will be made.
Any bookings cancelled giving less than 24 hours notice will incur the charge.
No-shows make it incredibly difficult to run an economically viable restaurant, especially given the impact of Covid. We would have preferred not to have had to implement this charge and we will keep it under review. Thank you for your understanding.
In the Restaurant
Every customer and visitor over the age of 16 must scan the NHS QR code using their NHS COVID-19 app, or write their name, full address and contact telephone number, not just a lead member of the group, in the book provided. This is to ensure that everyone receives any necessary public health advice in a timely manner from NHS Test and Trace. These records will be kept as per Government legislation for 21 days. Unfortunately we will have to refuse entry to anyone not complying with this legal requirement.
You will need to wear a mask at all time unless you are seated at your table – including walking to and from your table and going to the toilet. This is for the continued safety of our staff and other guests.
On arrival please wait to be seated.
All guests will be required to use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry to the restaurant.
The tables and chairs have all been positioned for social distancing for your safety and ours so please do not move them.
Once seated all guests will be required to stay at the table unless they need to use the toilet. There will be a hand sanitiser in the hallway to the toilets and guests are requested to use this before and after using the facilities. Please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds.
At the end of your meal we will ensure an unimpeded exit from the restaurant.
We will clean tables and seats between sittings. All contact points such as door handles and the card machine in the restaurant are sanitised regularly during the day as well as before and after service. The toilets will be checked and cleaned regularly.
LET’S ENJOY OURSELVES… safely!
It is obviously an unusual situation that we are all in at the moment and regular visitors to us will know that we like our guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
As long as everyone follows these guidelines and shows consideration to our staff and fellow guests there is no reason why that cannot continue.
We will review our guidelines regularly and we will follow Government and scientific advice, as well as using common sense.
We want to get back to normal just like you, however we certainly do not want to have to lockdown again, so let’s all take care and stay safe!
The menu changes at JoJo’s to take advantage of fresh seasonal items and there is always a selection of daily specials including deserts.
Booking for lunch or dinner at JoJo’s is almost essential. You can reserve a table online and you can now book up to one month in advance.
Tapas & Cocktail bar
Informal, and non-bookable, we serve a curated range of drinks by the glass accompanied by small plates of freshly prepared meze food.
